Delivering the benefits from projects and programmes
We have all heard the exclamation that "80% of projects fail". More worrying, our most recent research has identified that 58% of projects fail to realise the benefit that they were created to deliver. In other words, the planned improvements in performance needed for organisations to develop, to compete, to thrive are not happening. For many organisations it could be argued that it might have been better not to run projects; at least the money that is wasted could be saved!
This paper discusses the Critical Success Factors for increasing the chances of success.
