Welcome to the Metaskil online Programme and Project HealthCheck.



At Metaskil we have many hundreds of 'man years' in programme and project delivery. That experience has helped us to identify those elements of programmes and projects that are crucial to the successful achievement of sustained benefits - those things that will help your programmes and projects to be amongst the "20%" that are successful. The Metaskil HealthCheck is a comprehensive review of a programme, project or even portfolio that identifies areas for potential improvement and makes recommendations for achieving those improvements.

The approach that we take engages project and non-project staff and stakeholders to increase understanding, ownership and commitment to any changes necessary. The full HealthCheck uses a formal set of questions that are amended to reflect the issues, status and concerns of the project and stakeholders and results in the presentation of a carefully thought-through report and recommendations.

The online HealthCheck allows you to answer a subset of the sort of questions that the full HealthCheck covers, to give you a feel for the approach. There are a total of 30 questions and should take you about 10 minutes to complete. Some questions use radio buttons to allow you to select the single answer that most closely reflects the situation on your project. Others use check boxes to allow the selection of multiple answers.

Once you have completed the questions you will be given a computer-generated report showing, graphically and with selected text, how well we feel your project is doing against a number of different dimensions, reflecting both the status of the project itself and also the extent to which the organisation is supporting the project, with some suggested things that you might consider.

The report will also be e-mailed to you, with an additional graph showing how your project ranks against the same dimensions from all of the other projects that have been assessed.
