VTB Europe has successfully completed the conversion of its IBIS system to Midas Plus. Metaskil took on the overall management of VTB’s implementation of OPICS and conversion to Midas Plus in January 2005, following a commission to carry out a ‘health-check’ of the programme. Metaskil were asked to take over management of the programme and to provide functional expertise to the bank. Metaskil worked closely with Misys to achieve the implementation, and are now jointly planning the upgrade of the Midas Plus system to version 1.2.1. Stephen Clark, Deputy CEO of VTB Europe said that “the engagement of Metaskil in our implementation programme has enabled us to plan our future in the context of a flexible set of systems, delivered to predictable timescales.
