A Group of just over 40 attended the first in a series of events for the company’s associates. These key members of the Metaskil team, identify strongly with the company and its key offerings and methods, in the same way as its salaried staff.
The Group met on 12th July, and enjoyed a tour of the famous ground, including time in the Long Room and the museum, where the Ashes Urn resides, before attending a short presentation and then dinner in the Investec Media Centre. The event coincided with the re-launch of Metaskil’s web site, including a new area specifically for Metaskil’s associates. The Group was invited to contribute specific ideas about what should be presented there.
Metaskil’s Resourcing Director, Paul Hunsdon, viewed the event both as a success and a milestone in Associate relations development. “We know that our core associates are as important to us as our salaried team. It is vital to us that their sense of belonging is maintained or increased and that we operate to common standards. Everyone benefits, particularly our customers.”
