The Association of Train Operating Companies Metaskil was engaged by ATOC to review a ‘run-away’ project (Lennon). Using our in-house HealthCheck approach we identified a number of core project and supplier issues and set out a plan of remedial action. As a result we were asked to manage the recovery and delivery of the project.
In a separate assignment ATOC recognised that the existing IS architecture, which had developed over the years since deregulation, would not be fit for purpose going forward. The architecture, however, was not only complex from a technology perspective but also in terms of the underlying contracts. ATOC needed to create a new, simplified, architecture that would meet the needs of the industry going forwards and provide a framework for future development. Metaskil was engaged to facilitate the development of this thinking.
