Dr Wilf Eaton, Chairman

Dr Wilf Eaton is Chairman of Metaskil Group. With a 35 year career in the technology industry in Europe, Asia Pacific and the United States, Wilf brings an extensive experience of building high tech companies

Wilf joined the Board of QA plc in 2002, the largest provider of IT training in the UK. He was Chairman of Wentworth Research, the IT management research firm, following an MBO and it was sold Gartner Group in 1998. Wilf was Founder and Chief Executive of OASiS Group plc, the pioneer of Business Re-engineering in Europe, which was sold to Sybase Inc in 1994. Following the acquisition, he joined the Operating Committee of Sybase in the USA as Vice President. Previously, he was General Manager at ICL Fujitsu, following sales management roles in Benelux, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia

He is Chairman of Information Risk Management plc and an investor in a variety of private companies. He is an advisor to companies on corporate development, fund raising, marketing and organisational development

Dr. Eaton is a Past Master and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants, Freeman of the City of London, Trustee of Kenya Children Centres and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts

Ian Faulkner, Managing Director

Ian was appointed Managing Director of Metaskil in 2007 and has helped to steer the continued growth of the business and its diversification into software, with the acquisition of Open Square. He continues to work with clients as coach, mentor, change manager and insurance industry expert; his particular area of expertise is in organisational design (for example during a merger or outsource) and the people-related aspects of change

Ian has worked in the IT, Change Management and Consultancy sectors for over 30 years; for over half of that time he has been associated in one way or another with Metaskil or its predecessor, The Consultancy Corporation (TCC). In 1990 Ian worked at the Change Management consultancy OASiS and used TCC to provide the IT resources for a number of his information and financial sector projects. When he left OASiS in 1997 Ian spent time working as an Associate of TCC before joining Metaskil as a permanent employee in 2004

Outside of work Ian is the Chair of a pan-London homelessness charity, Broadway Homelessness and Support

Richard Hornblow, Commercial Director

Richard co-founded The Consultancy Corporation (TCC) in 1987, having spent the previous 18 years in mainframe operations, process consulting, project management and profit centre management, most significantly during 10 years with ICL. As TCC’s Managing Director, Richard led the development of the company from start-up to £7 million turnover, covering two recessions, many successful projects, establishment of quality standards and trade association recognition, and the development of lasting client relationships over many years. Richard continued as MD of Metaskil plc (the main Group trading company) when Metaskil was formed in 2003 and became the adopted brand for a well-focussed but slightly wider service base than TCC

The corporate infrastructure was further developed over succeeding years. This enabled a continuous improvement in results and a viable succession plan, and Richard was able to hand over the MD role to Ian Faulkner in 2007. He remains a full time director, covering mainly Commercial, HR, quality and financial issues

Richard is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, Chairman of Governance for the Hampshire Rugby Football Union, President of Ramsdell Cricket Club and a contented Marylebone Cricket Club member

Paul Hunsdon, Resourcing Director

Paul has spent over 20 years working in the IT staff services industry. He joined TCC in June 1992, where he quickly progressed from Administration based roles, through to Resourcing, Sales Support and Account Management responsibilities

When the company rebranded to Metaskil, Paul became responsible for the management of all resources that the company delivers to a wide ranging client base and own projects team. In addition, Paul also Account Manages a number of our key clients and sits on the Metaskil Operating Board

Outside of work, Paul works for Reading FC on match days, where his job is working on the stretcher team. His biggest claim to fame is carrying off Chelsea keeper Peter Cech who suffered a fractured skull, which resulted in Paul being seen on TV and in the national press

Gill Duckett, Office Manager

Gill has worked at Metaskil for over 20 years, being the company’s first employee in 1988 of TCC. As the Office Manager and PA to Richard Hornblow (Commercial Director), Gill is responsible for all the accounting processes, i.e. paying suppliers, invoicing customers, liaising with banks, accountants and auditors, as well, Gill also takes care of all office corporate administration

Gill has progressed from a DP supervisor and Computer Operator with CCM Schools, a DP Supervisor and DP Manager with Hallmark Cards, DP supervisor and Assistant DP Manager with Parceline to Office Manager with Next Computers before her current long term position as Office Manager with Metaskil plc

Outside of work Gill is a fan of travelling, having visited New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, USA, Barbados, Indonesia among others
